Our team of language teachers are native speakers and/or are specialized in the languages they teach.

Juan Juelves

Born in Chile, Juan has years of experience teaching German and Japanese, especially online.

Mónica Morgado

Hailing from Portugal, Mónica holds bachelor's degrees in Portuguese and Spanish. Portuguese e Spanish.

Karina Samões

Karina is from Portugal and has expertise in teaching English to children (AEC) and academic support/tutoring in German. She holds bachelor's degrees in German and English.

Carla Marchão

Our director! Carla is from Portugal and holds a Bachelor of Arts in social sciences, with a minor in sociology. She has experience teaching and tutoring Portuguese, history, and geography. She also teaches Portuguese as a foreign language.

Julieta Martinéz

From Argentina, Julieta is the daughter of a French mother and an Argentinian father. She has years of experience teaching languages in Portugal, including French and Spanish.

Christine Miglioretti

Christine is from France and has much experience teaching French at the university level.

John Mano

A native of Canada, John has excellent fluency in Portuguese, in addition to extensive experience teaching English to children, teens, and adults in language schools. He has obtained the C2 Proficiency in English certification from the University of Cambridge.

Carolina Timóteo

Carolina is from Portugal. She holds a bachelor's degree in Asian Studies and teaches Japanese.

Lídia Monteiro

Holding bachelor's degrees in philosophy and Mandarin (the latter from the Confucius Institute of Lisbon and Aveiro), Lídia has deep expertise in these areas. She obtained level 4 on the Hànyǔ Shuǐpíng Kǎoshì (Chinese Proficiency Test, or HSK).

Ana Freitas

Born in Portugal, Ana holds a master's degree in mathematics and has a wealth of experience in academic support and tutoring this subject and its subfields (applied mathematics, statistics, analytics, and more). She offers remote tutoring sessions for students in high school and university.

Stanislav Kondratjev

Stanislav is from Russia and holds a PhD in mathematics. He is also a researcher at the University of Coimbra.
